Swimmer

On the 4th of July we took my daughter in the pool. We didn't know how she's react, as we strapped her small sunglasses around her head and pulled a sun hat down over her mostly bald head. We then took her into the water, and when we flipped her onto her back she began to float and kick her legs! She loved it. Laughed and played.

Today we went back in the pool after power walking the mall. We put on a different suit, and we placed her in a small floating raft thing with leg holes and a chair. It was so cute and she loved it. Mommy and I pushed her back and forth between us in the pool. Even though I'd never want take care of a pool, it would be cool to have one --for her. Not for us. Perhaps we'll get one later when she can take care of it for us :)

When she turns 6 months old, we will enroll her in a swimming class (probably at the YMCA) and probably inside. We can't wait for that! It will be around fall break, so we will have time to swim together.
