'rents

My parents left today. Flew away to see my sister and her older boyfriend. My brother's girlfriend flew to the 'burgh today and they're shacked up at his house now. We'll see how all of that goes.

Nothing new really. Told my daughter about the Tower of Babel tonight. Explained how various cultures, groups, and religions have explanations for why and how various things exist and have come about.

Ever see What the bleep do we know? I have it now. Gotta watch it sometime. Actually have a couple movies I'd like to see, but some the wife don't like so I suppose I will wait for a few... I'll be home for a few days alone and a friend's brother is in town. I'll be over there next weekend, and this weekend we're going to R&L's house. Woohoo. I've been up to damn early lately, but I enjoy getting to work so early.

Tonight my mother complained that she's seen me this week act like my father more and more. Good and bad. I work hard for my family, and sometimes I wish things were a little different. Maybe not have to work so hard, or have more time to research and spend with the family. Or more time to learn new stuff... I am eager to learn more about computers, and I am eager to write more and research. I am eager to do so much with such little time. We all balance and sacrifice, and I am changing some of my gears, slowly.
